The Lethbridge Public Library endeavors to provide resources for local businesses and develop programs in partnership with the business community. We have a variety of print resources available to help businesses in every stage of their progression. Also, we provide access to several online authoritative resources relevant for conducting business research, many of which may be accessed from outside the library.

Business Source Elite
Business Source Elite provides access to articles from business, management, and economic journals online. Among its key areas of coverage include accounting, banking, finance, international business, marketing, sales, and company profiles from DataMonitor. This resource also gives you access to the Journal of Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.

Canadian Directory to Foundations and Corporations
Canadian Directory to Foundations and Corporations is an essential research tool for the not-for-profit sector. Search for public and private foundations based on geographical area and funding interests. Please note that this tool is only accessible from within the Main Branch of the Lethbridge Public Library.

The Canadian Subsidy Directory links you to contact information along with a description of each grant, loan or program available across Canada for businesses, non-profit organizations and personal projects. You can find information leading you to many forms of financial help, subsidies, grants, loans, joint ventures or any funding program offered by the federal and provincial governments, associations and foundations. Search by keyword, organization names, coverage and most recently updated records. Please note that this tool is only accessible from within the Main Branch of the Lethbridge Public Library.
