Homebound Services
The Homebound service is free, with the exception of an annual membership fee!
The Lethbridge Public Library's Homebound Service can link you with a volunteer who will visit you regularly and "bring the library to you".
Who is eligible?
- Anyone who for reasons of ill health, disability, or convalescence is unable to come to the library.
- People confined to their homes during the winter months are also eligible.
How does the service operate?
A volunteer will visit at least every three weeks at a mutually arranged time bringing library materials selected to your areas of interest. Specific titles may also be requested. Materials will be returned by the volunteer.

- Audio Books
- Music
- DVDs

In addition, rotating block collections ensure that your library's supply of large print reading material is constantly refreshed.
