Come join us for a fun program of rhymes, finger plays, and songs suitable for newborns to 4 year olds and their caregivers.

Come together with your child to enjoy stories, rhymes, and songs. Spend time bonding and learning new ways to interact.


*For babies 0-12 months and their caregiver.

Program runs for 10 weeks starting in February.

Please note: Choose your participation location based on your baby's age. Main Branch is offering PCMG for ages 0-12 months on MONDAYS (10:00 - 11:00 AM) and The Crossings is offering PCMG for babies/toddlers 6-18 months on FRIDAYS (10:30 - 11:30 AM).
This is a FREE and REGISTERED program.

10:15 AM - 11:45 AM

These courses focus on speaking and  listening skills in a conversational setting.  Students will gain practice in being able to ask and answer questions with their peers.  Various  topics will be used to inspire conversation.

 This class helps prepare you to write the reading and writing modules of the IELTS-General test to become a Permanent Resident.  This class will NOT be teaching IELTS-Academic level reading and writing.

Book Talk  is a unique opportunity to explore books including some of the classics. As you do so, you will learn about culture, practise your speaking skills, and meet new people. Reading materials will be provided to participants.    
This class is most suitable for upper-intermediate to advanced ESL learners.

Embrace of the Serpent 2016
(b&w, 125 minutes Spanish)
The ravages of colonialism cast a dark shadow over the South American landscape in this 2016 Academy Award nominated film. Embrace of the Serpent is based on the journals of two 19th Century explorers in search of the psychedelic Yakruna plant. In this production, the action centres on Karamakate, an Amazonian shaman, the last survivor of his people and two scientists who build a friendship with him over 40 years.
