If you think that if you touch a computer you will break it - this course is for you. This course will introduce you to basic computer skills including: using a mouse, what all the keys do, basic internet searches, how to set up an email account to send and receive emails and attachments, and the very basics of using Word and Windows. If needed, the tutor will also spend time teaching keyboarding skills.
You must pre-register for this class by calling Margaret at 403-320-3133 or Beth 403-320-4977 or by visiting the Read On offices, located in the Main Branch of the Lethbridge Public Library.

It’s Income Tax Season. Canada Revenue Agency Outreach Program Officer, Bonnie McIntyre, will join us in the Community Meeting Room to answer any questions you have about filing a tax return. Find out about benefits and have any of your questions answered by a front line worker from CRA! Coffee and juice provided. Everyone welcome!

Parents and children (aged 5—12) have a snack and speak English as they learn together. Families will work on English conversation, reading, computer and other skills they want to improve. Free.
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Partnered with Toastmasters International, this course is for students with good English skills who wish to improve their confidence, communication and language skills.
You must be able to attend each week. Priority is given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
