Gwynne Dyer Presents The Trump Era: Surviving the Populist Wave

Populists have recently started coming to power in major democratic countries. They haven’t done anything truly frightening yet, but they talk about pulling the whole temple down. They are hostile to international institutions, to alliances, to free trade, to regional organizations like the EU, to all the familiar political furniture of the past 50-75 years. What’s to come in the years ahead and what impact will it all have? Are we all doomed?
Question & Answer to follow presentation.

Gwynne Dyer is an historian and independent journalist, has published several books and has had his articles widely syndicated for many years. Dyer’s newest book, Surviving the Populist Wave, will be published in December 2017.
