This class helps prepare you to write the listening and speaking modules of the CELPIP test to become a Canadian Citizen.  If you are writing to become a Permanent Resident, please note that this class does not cover writing and reading skills (see IELTS Preparation Class if you will need these skills).  It is strongly recommended you take the Keyboarding skills class if you are not a strong typist.

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join us to learn what you should know about Canada to help you prepare to pass the Canadian Citizenship Test.  If you have already received your letter of acceptance, you will likely write your test in September.  You will be given homework and must come prepared to take several tests throughout this course (10 weeks).  The registration fee also covers the cost of materials.

Limited to 10 students.

8:00 pm
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Want to prove you're the smartest in the room?

Assemble a team of up to six smartypants, and head to the Owl Acoustic Lounge the third Thursday of every month to take part in the library's pub quiz!  The top teams get prizes from the library and the Owl - plus all the bragging rights.

Questions start at 8pm, but we suggest getting there earlier as tables fill up quickly.
