In the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program, parents and infants between the ages of 6 and 18 months come together to enjoy songs, rhymes and stories. Have fun bonding with your child and meeting other parents in a relaxing environment, and learn a repertoire of rhymes to do at home or on the go!

 These courses focus on speaking and listening skills in a conversational setting.  Students will gain practice in being able to ask and answer questions with their peers.  Various  topics will be used to inspire conversation.

Are you a RAKtivist (a Random Act of Kindness Activist)?

Our Kindness Club is looking for kids in Grades 1-5 and volunteers in Grades 6-12 to join us in Kids' Corner for reading, stories about being kind, kindness themed crafts to be distributed in the community, and sharing of the good deeds we do every day!

As a member of the Street Team, you get to plan programs, suggest collections, and design the new Main Branch teen space.  Bring your brains - we'll trade you cookies for your best ideas.  Anyone in grades 7-12 can take part, so bring your friends!

Wildlife of the Oldman River Valley (44 min)

Set in the Oldman River Valley of southern Alberta, this documentary film follows the valley’s wildlife through each of the four seasons. Filmed by local wildlife photographer and filmmaker Rick Andrews, this documentary also includes underwater and night footage that together provide additional and unique insights into wildlife behaviour that even frequent visitors to this river valley may not have seen before.
