Wednesdays – Babes in the Library

Rhymes, tickles, bounces, and songs suitable for infants up to 18 months and their caregivers. Drop-in children’s programs start at 10:00 am in the Friends Place Meeting Room. Siblings are welcome!

Do your kids love technology?
Are they in grades 4-6?
Sign them up for Mini-Tech Heads! This is a tech program that explores technology in all its forms including: circuits, basic coding, website design, game creation, robotics, and 3D printing.
Mini-Tech Heads is on a rotating schedule.
April 11: Build your own computer with the Raspberry Pi.
April 18: Into to programming.
April 25: Microbits! Learn about the brains you’ll use to control your robot.
May 9– May 23:
 Design and build a milk-carton robot!

Schedule may be subject to slight changes or activity extensions depending on progress and participant's wishes.
This is a FREE and REGISTERED program. 
Registration is FULL for the Spring 2018 session.

Join the Lethbridge Public Library for a series of community speakers that will look at the many sides of the opioid crisis. 

May 16 - Dr. Em Pijl (University of Lethbridge)

Dr. Pijl's research focusses on homelessness, substance using, and at-risk populations. She will be discussing a drug study she conducted in four Alberta citites.
