Are you a RAKtivist (a Random Act of Kindness Activist)?

Our Kindness Club is looking for kids in Grades 1-5 and volunteers in Grades 6-12 to join us in Kids' Corner for reading, stories about being kind, kindness themed crafts to be distributed in the community, and sharing of the good deeds we do every day!

Fridays - The STEAM Lab

Experiment and create with hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. This program is for kids in grades 1-5.

This is a free and registered program. Registration opens August 15.

Relax and kick back after a long week of school with board games, colouring, LEGO, and snacks. Anyone in grades 7-12 is welcome.

Make some art for the new Main Branch Teen Zone, and take home art for your own reading nook! It's the perfect way to celebrate Art Days.

We’ll be painting and collaging canvases, customizing mugs, and making some hanging mobiles. Anyone in grades 7-12 is welcome!

Indian Horse
Based on the novel by Richard Wagamese, this film follows the life of Saul Indian Horse, as he survives residential schools and racism of the 1970's. Saul, a talented hockey player, must find his own path as he battles stereotypes and alcoholism.
