Have you heard the buzz? Lethbridge Public Library will be hosting two spelling bees in 2018. One will be on October 20 (Spelling Mini-Bee) and the other on November 17 (Spelling Bee). 
Are you interested in joining? See which Spelling Bee you are eligible to participate in:

1) If you are currently in Grade 1, 2 or 3, then the Spelling Mini-Bee is for you! 
The Spelling Mini-Bee will be held on Saturday October 20 at 2 p.m. in the Theatre Gallery (Main Branch). 
There will be two OPTIONAL study sessions for the Spelling Mini-Bee: Oct 6, Oct 13 at 2:00 pm in the Theatre Gallery (Main Branch)
 
2) If you are currently in Grade 4, 5 or 6, then the Lethbridge Public Library Spelling Bee is for you! 
The Spelling Bee will be held on November 17 at 2 p.m. in the Theatre Gallery (Main Branch)

Space for both Bees is limited.
This is a FREE and REGISTERED program.

Make sure to view/download the digital copy of the Speller's Guide  (Spelling Guide will be made available in September) or pick one up from the Main Branch.

Looking for a rewarding volunteer leadership position?  The library's Teen Advisory Board needs you!

TAG meets once a month with the teenbrarian.  Responsibilities include:

  • planning teen programs
  • updating the teen social media
  • guiding what the library offers for teens

Anyone in grades 7-12 is welcome to be a member.
