These courses focus on speaking and  listening skills in a conversational setting.  Students will gain practice in being able to ask and answer questions with their peers.  Various  topics will be used to inspire conversation.

Rhymes, tickles, bounces, and songs suitable for newborns to 4 year olds and their caregivers. Drop-in children’s programs start at 10:00 am in the Friends Place Meeting Room. Siblings are welcome!

This class helps prepare you to write the listening and speaking modules of the CELPIP test to become a Canadian Citizen.  If you are writing to become a Permanent Resident, please note that this class does not cover writing and reading skills (see IELTS Preparation Class if you will need these skills). 

 
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

This class helps prepare you to write the reading and writing modules of the IELTS-General test to become a Permanent Resident.  This class will NOT be teaching IELTS-Academic level reading and writing.
