Who are the Friends?
The Friends is a non-profit charitable society of volunteers and donors who love Lethbridge Public Library.
What do the Friends do?
The Friends advocate on behalf of our Library and raise funds for extra needs and services.
What does the Funding Support?
The Friends support enhancements, programs and events suggested by the Library CEO.

The furnishings and equipment to open the
Crossings Branch.
Toys and renovations to the Children’s Area in the

How are Funds Raised?
The Friends sell gently used books and video games in our volunteer managed stores, Booktique, found in both the Main Library and the Crossings Branch. We also sell these materials at bi-annual book sales and at Word on the Street. The Library welcomes donations of the materials listed above.
We regret materials such as
DVDs, CDs, VHS, casettes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest books and old magazines can NOT be accepted.
