Fleischer Studios produced the second Technicolor animated sound feature film. Released between Disney’s Snow Whiteand Pinocchio, this loose adaptation of Swift’s novel is an often-forgotten piece of animation history.
Nominated for the 1939 Academy Awards for Best Original Score and Original Song

“Fleischer’s animation and detail for color values to catch the fine qualities of the new Technicolor process add much to the picture’s all-round quality.”
