Youth Writing Contest

Are you 8-12 years old? Do you love to write? Then join us for our Youth Writing Contest!

Below, you will be able to download the picture prompts for this contest. Write a new work based on one of the five picture prompts. You can bring your submission to the Crossings Branch or the Main Branch children's department by November 30th, 2023.

We accept all types of writing (poetry, prose, screenplay, etc.).

Winners will be notified early December.
