2024 Teen Book Club: The FOLD Challenge

Diversify your reading in 2024 as our Teen Book Club takes on The FOLD Challenge!  Read a book that matches the themes below, then come to the library to talk about what you read and take home a treat bag of goodies.  You can also join the book discussions via the LPLTeenZone Discord server.

February 23 = a book that has been challenged in a Canadian library

March 22 = a mystery by a racialized author  (meeting CANCELLED)

April 19 = a book by a Sikh author

May 31 = a historical novel by a South Asian author

June 28 = a book by a Blackfoot or Cree author

There will be further challenges through the year with a variety of themes.  You can take a peek ahead by visiting thefoldcanada.org, and each month we’ll have a special booklist to help you find something great to read before the meeting.

Anyone in grades 7-12 is welcome to take part in our Teen Book Club!
