eCard FAQs

There is no fee required for a Lethbridge Public Library card in 2024.

If you are 18 years of age or older and are a resident of Lethbridge you can apply for an eCard.

You will have instant access to all library resources including ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, online courses and research databases. You can also place holds online.

You bet! To start borrowing physical items, come visit us at any Lethbridge Public Library branch. You can use your eCard number to check out at our self check machines, or at any service desk.

We’ll set you up with one!  Come visit us at any of the Lethbridge Public Library branches.  Give us your eCard number and ID and we’ll get you a physical card.  Your original eCard number that was assigned to you online will change to a physical card number.  

NOTE: If you change your eCard to a physical library card, your accounts will need to be merged to retain access to your holds, borrowed items, and online services. To merge your accounts, contact membersupport@chinookarch.ca

Some of the possible reasons for an error are an already existing account, misspelled street names, etc. Give us a call at 403-380-7310 or visit any Lethbridge Public Library Branch.  You can also email ecard@chinookarch.ca for help registering online.

Sadly, no. Please contact us immediately to report your lost or stolen card. give us a call at 403-380-7310 or visit any Lethbridge Public Library Branch.   On your next visit to the library we can set you up with a replacement card.
